How payment, rescheduling and refunds work. In plain words.
Payment
- Your child’s first class is free (one free class per child). After it, I send you a payment link for the term.
- Classes are paid by the term, in advance. A term is 10 classes of 50 minutes.
- International families pay by PayPal, in US dollars. Families in China pay by WeChat Pay.
- A place in a group is confirmed when payment is received.
Rescheduling and missed classes
- 1-on-1: you can reschedule for free with at least 24 hours’ notice. With less notice, or if the student doesn’t come, the class counts as taught.
- Groups: classes go ahead as scheduled. A missed group class isn’t refunded or made up individually, but every class is recorded, so your child can watch it.
- If I have to cancel a class, I’ll reschedule it at a time that suits you, or credit it.
- If a student is late, the class still ends on time. If I’m late, I’ll add the time back.
Refunds
- You get a full refund if you cancel before the term starts.
- After the first class of the term, unused classes are refunded, minus PayPal’s fee if you paid by PayPal. Nothing is deducted if you paid by WeChat Pay.
